Designed for schools, camps, scout troops and other non-profits, we’ll engage students as we focus on the hands-on cooking experience, highlighting the importance of each ingredients both in the recipe and as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Our field trips are like nothing else students have ever experienced. Of course, there are all types of fun things for kids to do on field trips, but our program may be the first time your students have the opportunity to have a hands on experience with food.
Many of the students who take part in our field trips walk away with a new appreciation of where food actually comes from. As you already know, there are countless benefits to having occasional field trips for your students. But, can you think of a better impression to make on your students than teaching them how to cook or bake nutritious, healthy meals they love?
Recipes for Learning
Cooking is a great opportunity to sharpen life-skills and stir-up creativity! It is also a great recipe for soaking-up some knowledge from the basic cognitive subject areas. In truth, any recipe prepared at our Culinary center is a chance to explore many topics of study such as Math, Science, Health, Reading/Language Arts and so much more.
Whether you’re looking for a field trip that focuses on a specific topic or just want to have fun, For The Love Of Food is the place!
We know that schools and non-profits have small budgets so we’ve made Field Trips as affordable as possible.$22/student for 10 (minimum of 10) and $20/student for 11 or more students (maximum of 18)
Sample menu options
Menu 1: Pizza Dough, Pizza Sauce for making your own pizza, Monster cookies, Flying Pudding Parfaits
Menu 2: Homemade Pasta, Chicken Parmesan, Garlic Bread and Fruit Crostata
Menu 3: Crepes Suzette, Spinach Garlic Chips and Pepper Flakes, Fish Meuniere and French toast
Menu 4: Homemade Sushi, Fruit Kabob and Green Tea Ice Cream
