Dozza, Italy Located about 30 minutes outside of Bologna on the main highway, Dozza is a 12th Century fortified papal mountain top castle, currently home to approximately 80 people, an internationally renown biennial art festival, and the beautiful Monte del Re Resort where we will be staying.
Our evenings will be spent dinning in some of the fabulous restaurants that the city has to offer. We may even be able to arrange a meal with a Cesarine, one of the government certified, home cooks that allow strangers into their homes to watch them make a family meal in the traditional manner. You even get to share the meal with the family afterwards.
