Best Class for Budding Chefs~
We start with Knife Skills and Kitchen Safety and then start cooking up a storm... Homemade salsa, tacos, and guacamole open the doors to Mozzarella Sticks & Marinara Sauce; Southern Fried Chicken; Mac' & Cheese, homemade pastas, lasagna and pizza!

TO THINK LIKE A PASTRY CHEF 
For kids aged 11 - 17
Monday - Friday July 23rd - 27th 10 AM - 3PM $425
This class starts with all important Knife Skills & Kitchen Safety, but then we rush into the kitchen! We'll explore the magic of sugar with homemade marshmallows, nut brittle, chocolate caramels and caramel corn!
We'll indulge our sweet teeth with vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with buttercream icings; fresh fruit pies; homemade doughnuts; some of the world's best cookies plus copycat "Oreo" Cookies; homemade ice cream with hot fudge and butterscotch sauces, homemade chocolate pudding, cinnamon buns and a cookie/brownie "Top Chef" style bake-off!
(Child needs to bring lunch to pastry class - Lunch is not provided, only dessert.)

Homemade ketchup, mayonnaise, ranch & Caesar dressings and tartar sauce open the doors to Mozzarella Sticks & Marinara Sauce, Chicken Fingers; Mac' & Cheese; Homemade pastas and sauces! Handmade burgers & buns! Pizza! And every chef should know how to make at least one great dessert, so we're going to make homemade ice cream sandwiches - using the most incredible homemade vanilla ice cream and chocolate chip cookies ~ and much more!

exceptions are usually not made to our age policy.
If your child is autistic, or has developmental/behavioral issues, provide information when registering.

To ensure your child, as well as all the other
children in the group, get the full attention he or she deserves, we set a limit of one special needs child per
session.
For safety reasons, we require each autistic/special needs camper be accompanied by a full-time aide.
Cancellation Policy: If
it is necessary for a camper's reservation to be cancelled for personal
reasons or because of a change in family plans, For the Love of Food
must be informed in writing by April 15, 2012.
After that date, refunds will be made only if a replacement camper is found for your spot. Any change of session within 4 weeks of registration is subject to a $35.00 change of session fee. If the change of session request comes more than a month after registration, the change of session fee will be $55.00. If the session change comes after May 15, 2012, and your spot cannot be filled, you will be required to pay for the full week. If the spot can be filled, you will still be responsible for the change of session fee only.
